BUILDING IN EAST CHICAGO
NWI Habitat for Humanity is currently searchng for families to apply for homeownership through our partner family program. We have property to be developed in East Chicago's North Harbor Redevelopment Area. If you are interested in applying for one of these new home builds, please contact us at 219.923.7265.
The first home to be built will be sponsored by ArcelorMittal. This will be the first home built with steel framing and completely constructed by ArcelorMittal employee volunteers.
The second home will be built by a sponsorship obtained through the Community Block Grant from East Chicago, IN.
