Become a Part of the 2019 Women Build
Though our neighborhoods are comprised largely of women and children, they are also the population’s most likely to be affected by poor living conditions.
Our Women Build event provides the opportunity for women to take a proactive step in serving their communities.
Women Build volunteers from all walks of life come together to build stronger, safer communities.
Help make a positive impact in Lake County Indiana!
A $50 payment and a signed waiver is required per person to secure your build date. Click the “Rosie the Riveter” image to make your gift of $50 or more to start the process. Be sure to include your email and phone number so we can send you the waiver and contact you
to schedule a build date that works for you.
We welcome teams of up to 8 people! Your registration payment includes a t-shirt, lunch and refreshments. Proceeds go to Habitat for Humanity of NW Indiana helping to fund these and other Habitat homes in Lake County. The 2019 Women Build projects are in Hammond and Merrillville.
No experience is necessary!
Any woman OR man, who wants to learn how to build and construct a home is invited to join us. Volunteers work under the guidance of construction professionals, and also alongside other volunteers and future Habitat homeowners.
Partner families put in 300+ hours of their time to build their own and others homes.
Women Build is also a terrific opportunity for company team building,
church groups, as well as friends and family to get together and make a lasting impact.
Are you ready to build with us? Women Build projects launch July 11th and run until the homes are completed!
Questions? email our Volunteer Coordinator, Mike at email@example.com
